About Whitewater Rafting Adventures

Whitewater Rafting Adventures operates on the Lehigh River in the Pocono Mountains near Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, offering whitewater rafting trips along with paintball, kayaking, biking, and zip lining. The main whitewater rafting trip covers 13 miles through Lehigh Gorge with 18 rapids, while an easier alternative spans 11 miles with Class I–II rapids. Inflatable kayaking trips accommodate paddlers of different skill levels across three options. The paintball facility provides private fields, guns, goggles, and compressed air for all-day play. Equipment rentals include camouflage coveralls and chest protectors, and players purchase paintballs on-site in various quantities. The adventure center welcomes children ages 6 and up for certain activities. The family-owned business, established in 1980, has taken over 250,000 people rafting. Tickets for activities are sold online through the venue's website.
