Whistle Pig Pumpkin Patch is a pick-your-own farm operation near Noxen where visitors harvest their own produce directly from the fields. The farm grows strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, elderberries, pumpkins and gourds throughout the season. Guests can pick tomatoes, raspberries, jalapenos, bell peppers, sweet Italian peppers, green beans, eggplants, basil and parsley depending on availability. In fall, the farm offers pick-your-own pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze and rustic campfire outings in wooded picnic areas. The farm also hosts an annual scarecrow-making event. Maple syrup and local honey are available for purchase at the register. The operation accepts cash, checks and credit cards. Located at the base of Schooley's Peak adjacent to Bowman's Creek, the property began as a dairy farm in the 1870s and is currently run by the Field family. Groups can arrange fall outings at the farm.
