About The Launching Pad

The Launching Pad in Goldsboro, North Carolina is a baseball and softball training facility where visitors practice batting and pitching using advanced technology. The facility features HitTrax batting simulators that use optical technology to analyze and improve swing mechanics, along with Rapsodo pitching machines equipped with video review capability. Visitors can rent indoor batting cages by the hour or half hour, with each cage including a pitching machine, bucket of baseballs or softballs, L-screen or softball screen, pitching mound, and Tanner Tee. The facility accommodates individual practice sessions and team rentals. Teams can book multiple practice slots weekly using two tunnels per session. The Launching Pad also organizes travel teams for players seeking competitive play at higher levels.
