The Hatchet Factory in Forty Fort offers axe throwing, a sport similar to darts in which visitors throw 1.5-pound hatchets at wooden targets marked with a bullseye and score points based on where the axes stick. Visitors throw in individual lanes and compete side-by-side with other participants. Trained coaches supervise throughout each session, beginning with safety rules and one-on-one throwing lessons and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Only active throwers are permitted in the throwing area while other participants wait in a designated safety zone behind the lanes. The facility accommodates groups of any size and welcomes all ages. The Hatchet Factory offers fun throwing sessions, private events for birthdays and anniversaries, corporate team-building experiences, fundraising events, and competitive leagues. The venue provides drinks and snacks on-site and allows guests to bring their own food and beverages. The facility is handicap accessible with an ADA-compliant restroom and welcomes spectators.
