About The Escape Works

The Escape Works in downtown Watertown offers immersive escape room experiences where teams search for hidden clues, solve puzzles, and uncover stories that unfold around them. Each room presents a carefully designed world with its own theme, logical challenges, and unexpected surprises. Visitors work through creative puzzles and riddles, with every detail mattering to progress. The facility features multiple themed escape rooms alongside an axe-throwing experience, giving groups options for different types of challenges. A visit involves stepping into a constructed environment, deciphering clues within that space, and working collaboratively to solve the puzzle sequence before time expires. The escape rooms are built so each player's contribution matters to solving the challenge, whether participants are service members, local residents, or regional visitors exploring the North Country.
