About Speedsportz Racing Park

Speedsportz Racing Park in New Caney is a go-kart facility where visitors drive rental karts around a professionally designed, high-speed track. Races are 10 minutes long, and rental karts reach about 45 MPH. Drivers must be at least 14 years old and 60 inches tall. Before racing, each driver watches a short safety video covering kart operation, flags, and the course layout. Closed-toed shoes are required, and long hair must be secured in a ponytail and tucked into a jacket or shirt. Speedsportz accommodates individual Arrive & Drive races as well as group events and corporate team-building programs, including endurance races for added challenge. Meeting rooms with high-speed internet and projection screens are available for groups. The facility operates Wednesday through Sunday and welcomes both first-time and experienced racers.
