Parrot Mountain and Gardens is a four-acre attraction in Pigeon Forge featuring hundreds of tropical birds and thousands of flowers, plants and trees. Visitors walk landscaped paved pathways lined with natural field stone past uniquely designed parrot cottages with varied roof styles. The site includes a Secret Garden where toucans, silvery-cheek hornbills and magpies fly freely among the landscaping. The Bird Garden holds approximately 70 birds on open perches, where visitors feed them seed from their hand and have pictures taken with them. A Lory Aviary allows visitors to feed multicolor lories nectar from a cup held in their hand. The grounds also feature a picturesque waterfall and a 200-foot dry stacked stone fence. The attraction operates on rainy days with covered areas, and suits visitors from age two through seniors.
