About Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden at Gatlinburg
Parrot Mountain and Gardens occupies four acres in Gatlinburg featuring hundreds of tropical birds and thousands of flowers, plants, and trees. Visitors walk landscaped paved pathways lined with natural field stone, passing unique parrot cottages with varied architectural details including slate, clay tile, and cedar shake roofing. The Secret Garden allows visitors to view toucans, silvery-cheek hornbills, and magpies flying freely among the landscaping. The Bird Garden displays approximately 70 birds on open perches where visitors can hand-feed them seeds and pose for photographs. A separate Lory Aviary lets visitors feed colorful lories nectar from cups held in their hands. The grounds also include a picturesque waterfall. Activities work during rainy weather under covered areas, and the attraction suits visitors from age 2 through seniors. Parrot Mountain and Gardens charges admission with different rates for adults, children, and seniors.
