About Mia's Place

Mia's Place is a multi-sensory recreational center in New Hartford where children with and without developmental disabilities play, learn, and integrate together. Visitors explore separate play areas designed by age group. A soft-play area serves toddlers ages three and under, while an active play area accommodates children ages eight and under. The center creates a safe, supportive environment where kids explore activities, foster friendships, and develop understanding across abilities. Staff members work to empower every child to reach their full potential. All visitors must wear socks in the play areas, and parents or caregivers are expected to supervise children throughout their visit.
