About Lake Hickory Escape
Lake Hickory Escape in Hickory, North Carolina offers escape rooms, axe throwing, and virtual reality games. Visitors solve puzzles and search for clues within themed escape rooms including Pharaoh's Treasure, where players explore an abandoned archaeologist's study before discovering a secret entrance into a golden tomb filled with artifacts; Curse of the Mummy; Carnevil; and Mineshaft. Each escape room challenge lasts 45 minutes. The axe throwing activity accommodates up to eight guests per session, with participants throwing axes at targets for 30 minutes. The venue features 17 virtual reality shooter games, each providing 30 minutes of playtime for up to two players side by side, while other guests observe the action on screens. Participants in axe throwing must be 18 or older and wear closed-toed shoes. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
