About Historic Magnolia Depot

Historic Magnolia Depot is a museum preserving the community's past through photographs, records, maps, and artifacts donated by local families. Visitors explore exhibits displayed at the Depot complex, located at the corner of Buddy Riley Boulevard and Melton Street in Magnolia, Texas. The museum shares stories and historical items that document Magnolia's rich heritage across generations. Most preserved items come from generous donations by residents with deep ties to the community. The Magnolia Historical Society, which operates the Depot, dedicates itself to inspiring a love of history in visitors of all ages through its exhibits and educational programs. The organization also hosts monthly membership meetings held the second Thursday of each month, welcoming both longtime residents and newcomers interested in the community's history. Those wishing to contribute historic photographs or memorabilia to the collection may contact the society to ensure Magnolia's heritage is preserved for future generations.
