Fantasy of Flight, Polk City

About Fantasy of Flight

Fantasy of Flight is a tours and sightseeing attraction in Polk City where visitors explore a large hangar filled with vintage aircraft from several aviation eras. The collection features planes that showcase the history of flight, and guests can browse a gift shop for items found only at the venue. Creator Kermit Weeks has overseen projects here including the reconstruction of a 1913 Benoist XIV flying boat, a reproduction aircraft built on-site. The venue hosts corporate events, weddings, photography shoots, and team-building activities across more than 100,000 square feet of combined meeting and event space, both indoors and on the surrounding acreage. Fantasy of Flight operates seasonally on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons; specific dates change annually and are published on the website. Children ages five and under receive free admission, and the venue publishes three paid admission prices online at fantasyofflight.com.
