About Dobson Splash Pad
Dobson Splash Pad is a water feature located within Dobson Square Park in downtown Dobson, North Carolina. Visitors cool off by playing in the splash pad's interactive water jets and sprays on warm days. The splash pad is Surry County's first facility of its kind. Dobson Square Park spans 2.5 acres and includes a playground with swings, a walking path, a fitness area, two picnic shelters, and an amphitheater alongside the splash pad. The park hosts festivals and events throughout the year, including Spring Folly, the Summer Movie Series, the Ground Steak Festival, and Dobson Spooktacular. Families with young children looking for free water play during summer months find the splash pad a convenient neighborhood attraction. The shelters and amphitheater are available for rent through the town for private events and gatherings.
