Bulloch County Recreation and Parks in Statesboro operates an extensive system of public facilities across 12 park sites and approximately 420 acres. Visitors use athletic fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds for active recreation. The Splash in the Boro Family Waterpark and Aquatics Center provides aquatic programs and activities for all ages. A 27-hole disc golf course and greenway with two trailheads offer outdoor pursuits. Mill Creek Regional Park, a state-of-the-art complex opened in 1993, hosts tournaments and athletic events. The Bulloch County Agricultural Complex at the Ag site accommodates rodeos, roping events, car shows, and other gatherings available for rental. The department offers instructional programs including cooking classes, STEM classes, and tumbling for youth and adults, plus afterschool programs, summer camps, and activities for those over 50 and persons with disabilities. Athletics programming includes football, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, and tennis.
