About Big Sur Adventures, 17 Mile Drive

Big Sur Adventures offers guided electric bike tours and bike rentals across the Monterey Peninsula from Pacific Grove. Visitors ride powerful e-bikes on scenic routes including the 16-mile tour that passes Lone Cypress and Ghost Trees before stopping at Pebble Beach Lodge. The relaxed-pace tour covers approximately 10 miles for beginner cyclists. The Carmel-by-the-Sea Tour features fairy-tale cottages and ocean views through town. More advanced riders can take the Old Coast Road Tour through backcountry on an old dirt wagon road, with optional hotel pickup in an open Jeep Wrangler. Tours include stops for wildlife viewing and regional history lessons. The company operates public tours daily and offers private group experiences. Equipment includes top-of-the-line e-bikes and standard bikes available for hourly, daily, and monthly rentals.
