About A Ghostly Encounter

A Ghostly Encounter is an unscripted walking tour through St. Augustine's haunted history, operating seven nights a week. Visitors walk the dark narrow streets for ninety minutes with a professionally licensed guide who shares accurate historic information alongside tales passed down through generations. The tour visits The Castillo de San Marcos, The City Gate, The Tolomato and Hugenot Cemeteries, and other documented paranormal hotspots throughout the oldest continuously operated ghost tour in town. Guides welcome questions, share photos, and remain open to conversation with guests. The attraction also offers A Paranormal Encounter, a separate ninety-minute investigation where visitors use cutting-edge paranormal investigative tools inside the Oldest Wooden School House on Saint George Street and its courtyard. The walking tour welcomes all ages, is stroller and wheelchair accessible, and permits well-behaved leashed pets. Private tours are available for groups of ten or more.
