Visitors can take pony rides, rent horses by appointment, or enjoy hiking trails that open at dawn. The park provides horseshoe and volleyball set rentals for active recreation. Seasonal events include Easter Eggstravaganza, a pumpkin patch, the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off, Santa's Village with ice fishing, a Christmas Train decorated with lights, and a Train of Lights. The railroad operates daily starting at ten in the morning. Regular train rides run throughout the week, with weekday and weekend schedules varying. Bike and paddle boat rentals operate during posted hours, with last rentals departing one hour before closing. The park accommodates leashed dogs and offers picnic tables and barbecue facilities available on a first-come, first-served basis. Two snack bars provide food and beverages on-site.
