Ah Bonfire Night, a night to celebrate the almost-decimation of the Houses of Parliament. Sparkler anyone?

Without getting bogged into the political details of November 5th, it’s the perfect excuse to get the family together and have some fun.

Disclaimer: Yes, we know each one has ‘spectacular’ in the name – no, it wasn’t planned.

Here are our favourites.

LEGOLAND® Windsor Fireworks Spectacular

Amazing fireworks and your favourite LEGOLAND® rides? In one day? Oh my giddy aunt. Heaven.

From November 4th – 6th you can make a full day of it – as in, you can get your LEGO® drivers’ license, ride LEGO® Mythica AND see a gobsmacking firework display all in one day.

Not enough for you? Go VIP with a full day of Priority Ride Access, view the fireworks from the VIP zone and get a tonne of other freebies – think food, drink and LEGO® gifts, what else could you ask for?

Alton Towers, Ultimate Fireworks Spectacular

If you’ve carefully avoided Alton Towers for the entirety of October (it’s okay, some of our team don’t like scary stuff either), you’re safe to return for their well-known and loved firework show.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get your usual theme park adrenaline kicks – but riding in the dark. That amps up the spook factor a bit, doesn’t it?

So, when do the fireworks start? After a full day of theme park thrills, the fireworks display starts at 7pm – the park’s usual closing time.

These fireworks are familiar to their locals but are quick on their way to becoming known as one of the best fireworks displays in the UK – if that isn’t enough to grab your attention, we don’t know what is.

Leeds Castle Fireworks Spectacular

This one is truly an event to remember, ticket holders can enter the grounds from 2pm – the perfect time to explore the castle maze, play areas, adventure golf and falconry displays, all before the fireworks even begin.

Oh, don’t be mistaken, these aren’t any old fireworks. This royalty-themed display has full music production, projections and lasers – really puts those four fireworks at the local park to shame, right?

Fireworks begin from 5.30pm and this year’s soundtrack is yet to be announced, so keep your ear out...

Gulliver’s World Fireworks Spectacular, Warrington

Another magical day-long event, with fireworks as a spectacular finale – see what we did there? (Read: we’re starting to understand the obsession with overusing spectacular...)

You can have approximately 7.5 hours of fun at Gulliver’s World at the Safari Kingdom and The Lost World of the Living Dinosaurs, before the display even begins. If you feel like making Bonfire night last even longer, you can stay on-site at be first to the rides (beat that kids).

Booking this in advance will save you some coin AND those under 90cm get free entry – winner winner, chicken dinner.

Well, that’s our pick of attraction firework displays – where are you heading to?
