LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort tips and tricks

Danielle

Danielle says

"If you want to explore everywhere, allow more time!"

Would recommend this as a two day, you won’t get around everywhere in one day.

Pip

Pip says

"Stick around til after 6pm for a quiet explore of the park"

The rides shut at 6 but the park doesn't so spend the day doing rides then walk round mini land. This also means you avoid sitting in the ques to get out.

Samantha

Samantha says

"Day hire buggies available!"

You can hire out buggies for the day, they're a life saver especially if you're going to bring a picnic!

What to expect at LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

Build amazing family memories at the UK's favourite kids theme park

Hotspots here include LEGO® City Deep Sea Adventure, where kids can explore an underwater world, and LEGO® MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures. In this parallel world, LEGO® creatures come to life, right before your eyes, plus you can experience three new rides, including Flight of the Sky Lion (the UK’s first flying theatre ride).

Young ninjas will sharpen their skills and master Spinjitsu at LEGOLAND® NINJAGO The Ride, before picking up their driver’s license at the LEGO® City Driving School (a rite of a passage, if you ask us) then going on to ride a Dragon through a medieval castle on The Dragon.

Want a little break from the action? Take a stroll round Miniland and spot famous landmarks from around the world, built with over 40 million LEGO® bricks. The DUPLO valley has lots for Little Builders to explore too, like Drench Towers, Splash Safari, Fairytale Brook, Brickville and more.

Heartlake City also provides Sensory Spaces, designed to provide a calm and quiet space for guests with additional sensory needs to go at any time during your park visit.

LEGOLAND®’s a family theme park with rides aimed at kids aged 3-12. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Anyone under 90cm in height gets in for free, this is because rides are restricted by height, not age.

Can I take food into LEGOLAND® Windsor?

Yep, you’re welcome to bring a picnic with you. There’s plenty of spots to enjoy it but bear in mind that they may be uncovered. If you want to bring a cool box and leave it in the car, make sure you get a stamp when you exit so you can get back in.

How long does it take to get around LEGOLAND® Windsor?

If you want to squeeze in all the rides, live shows and attractions (who wouldn’t?), you’ll need a full day. Lots of people turn their visit into a minibreak too. There’s plenty of hotels nearby, including in the park itself.

Can I take a backpack into LEGOLAND® Windsor?

You’re welcome to bring a backpack with you but please bear in mind that all bags are subject to security checks. There’s a list of prohibited items – sharp objects, fireworks, that kind of thing – so be sure to leave them at home.

Are there height restrictions at LEGOLAND® Windsor?

Rides at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort have height restrictions for your safety. Check the official site for more details.

Can I get a Ride Access Pass?

LEGGOLAND® Windsor offers a Ride Access Pass to guests who may find it difficult or cannot stand for extended periods of time – whether this is due to a physical disability or a learning/emotional impairment.

Guests who have a Ride Access Pass can bring up to 3 friends along with them.
