Only a few kids do the airline activity at a time so it's best to do that early instead of having to queue later in the day
We got the family meal in the KidZania cafe and had loads left over which we took for the train journey home!
Adults aren't allowed into most of the activities but you can watch your child through the little windows if they are nervous. They can just go off if they want to though!
Let’s set the scene - you’ll start off at KidZania airport. Then once you’re all checked in, there’s a whole indoor city for kids to explore (scaled down to their size, of course).
There’s a real mix of stuff for them to try too, ranging from 5 to 20 minutes. The activities are based around learning essential life skills and trying different careers in a fun way through play and collaboration.
One skill the young’uns will get stuck into is managing money. They’ll get a starting salary of 50 KidZos (KidZania’s very own currency) which is theirs to budget, save and spend. They can even get a bank card from the National Bank of KidZania. Fancy.
Earning KidZos by working is part of the fun too. Kids can find their dream career at the Job Information Centre, from presenting the local news to joining the police force. They can even invest their KidZos to get specialist training for jobs like airline pilot or firefighter.
As day outs go, this one’s pretty darn great.
