The tour guide shares lots of cool info but you can explore a lot of the studio at your own pace, so there's no need to feel rushed
Ready for an epic journey through the making of the cult TV show? Linen Mill Studios, Banbridge (a short drive from Belfast) is the show’s 110,000 square-foot original filming location – and home to every superfans’ dream day out.
Your adventure will start at the Night’s Watch in Castle Black before moving on to House Stark’s gaff at Winterfell, Dragonstone, and King’s Landing.
Along the way, you’ll see journals from the artists and designers who brought the original books to life onscreen. Get a behind-the-scenes peek at the visual effects and green screen magic that made fire-breathing dragons and limb-hacking battles seem so real. And there’s a section about props and set decoration, as well as a really cool armory.
You can’t take a Valyrian steel sword home (we asked) but there’s some really nice merch at the studio shop.
