What's there to do at Drayton Manor?

Drayton Manor’s a theme park, zoo and resort all in one place. Very efficient, if you ask us.

There are over 50 rides and attractions, including Europe’s only Thomas Land (or The Island of Sodor as it's known to the real fans) which boasts rides including Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash – that one’s brand new for 2023.

Adventure Cove is another of the park’s areas – it’s nautical themed so prepare to get wet. Stormforce 10 is a three-drop water ride (see, wet) while Shockwave is Europe’s first stand-up coaster, it reaches speeds of 53mph and yes, you will go upside down.

Vikings is also new at Drayton, with a restaurant and rides inspired by - you guessed it - Vikings. The UK’s first Zamperla Nebulaz is in this bit (for non-rollercoaster enthusiasts, that’s a type of ride with arms that rotate in fast intermeshing orbits).

Then there’s the zoo, of course. 500 animals from all around the world including tigers, flamingos, capybara and a load of different reptiles.
